One method of therapy, popular since the 1950's, is Ultrasound Therapy. Through the use of sound waves, frequencies are used to stimulate your soft tissue, promoting healing. This can be used to treat musculoskeletal ailments, like inflammation from sports injuries. It is a common practice in many physical therapy regimens.

WHAT IS INTERFERENTIAL CURRENT THERAPY?

Where as ultrasound therapy uses vibrations to stimulate tissue, Interferential Current Therapy uses an electrical current to help combat pain, swelling, and stiffness. Through the use of electrodes on the skin hooked up to the IFC device, the frequency of the current is able to penetrate deeper, reaching those hard to reach muscles. This has been known to promote faster healing and manage issues with chronic pain. This method can be used to treat muscle pain, joint pain, inflammation issues, and more.
